Horror artist turned graphic novelist, R.J. Grant has been practicing the dark arts for over 5 years.

With a keen interest in the skeletal system as a teenager and tastes naturally tending towards the macabre, R.J. Grant’s affinity for body horror and gore was impossible to curtail. The latest victims of their twisted vision being classical sculptures, stripped to bone and bathed in blood at this artist’s hand.

The turn to storytelling was a late one. As R.J. Grant decided to step beyond their comfort zone and find a new medium. Eventually it was their bookshelf that offered the answer. As a great fan of manga, particularly the work of Junji Ito, R.J. Grant began writing their first graphic novel series, Forged.
